NDT Recertification

NDT Recertification with the QCCC

Ready to recertify?

The QCCC National Training Society (NTS) offers Recertification Programs for Non-Destructive Testing professionals.

The QCCC NTS has been approved by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) as an Authorized Examination Centre (AEC) for Recertification Examinations in MT/PT/UT at our three existing Centres in Edmonton AB, Brantford ON, and Saint John NB.

To assist our Members in preparing for recertification examinations, the National Training Fund and QCCC National Training Society are sponsoring practical workshops at all three NTS locations. These workshops are intended for Members and potential Members to refresh their technical skills prior to undertaking the CGSB recertification exam(s). These NTS workshops are at no cost to applicants currently employed by Signatory Companies.

What is Recertification?

Recertification is a process that maintains the validity of your NDT certification through examination. You are required to recertify your certification before the end of your second period of validity, approximately 10 years from initial certification or last recertification (120 months or less).

As per NRCan, it is your responsibility to keep an eye on its expiry date and to renew and recertify it on time or to revalidate it if necessary.

Where can I learn more about Recertification?

Visit the QCCC NTS Recertification Programs page to learn more about how we are helping Members prepare for their recertification.
