The MPI Testing (Magnetic Particle Inspection) Level 2 training course is designed to introduce the technician to the MPI method within the NDT (Non Destructive Testing)/NDE (Non Destructive Examination) industry. Knowledge of MPI is considered fundamental to the inspection of surface and near-surface discontinuities. This training course covers an introduction to basic principles and applications of MPI through a series of lectures and labs. The course will cover both the theoretical and practical components necessary to meet the requirements of NRCan and CAN/CGSB-48.9712.

All student manuals, text books, and handouts will be provided on the first day of the course.
Unless otherwise notified, classes are 8:00-16:30 Monday-Friday.
MPI Testing Level 2 training course certificates will be issued to each student that successfully completes the course. Attendance will be recorded daily and in order to successfully pass the course, students must receive a grade of ≥70%.
