The National Training Society (NTS) is the educational center of the QCCC. As the leader for training and certification in NDT, Visual Inspection, and Field Heat Treatment, the NTS excels in practical skills training and development to QCCC members and the general public.

The QCCC is a joint venture between the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers (IBB) and the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA) and is recognized as the designated Union to represent nondestructive testing and field heat treatment technicians across Canada.
